Front Frame Rail Adapter Assembly

Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
Properly mount the vehicle on a frame bench when performing this procedure.

Repair Procedure

Remove the Front Shock Tower (All Dual Motor Vehicles and All Vehicles Built After April 10, 2016).
Remove the original component.

or Bolts, hex-head

or Bolt, Allen-head
Note
This Allen-head bolt is loosened, but remains in the Torque Box.

Factory Pin and Collar
Prepare for installation.
or High Strength Structural Rivets, 6.5 mm
or Flow Form Rivets, S48

or Bolts, hex-head

or Bolt, Allen-head
Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Torque all bolts to 50 Nm.
install the Front Shock Tower (All Dual Motor Vehicles and All Vehicles Built After April 10, 2016).
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
