Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
Properly mount the vehicle on a frame bench when performing this procedure.

Repair Procedure

Remove the necessary portion of the Door Ring Outer.
Remove foam dams.

Note
Save the foam dams for installation in a later step.
Remove the original component.

Prepare for installation.

Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Torque the fasteners as follows:
- Front bolt: M10-1.5x42, [109],G1009,PC, part number 1516228-00-B: 60 Nm.
- Rear bolt: M8-1.25x37, [109],G1009,CM, part number 1629418-00-A: 31 Nm.
Install the foam dams removed in an earlier step.
Install the necessary portion of the Door Ring Outer.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
