Repair Information
- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Remove the stud from the ASSEMBLY - TORQUE BOX FRONT service part.
NoteThe indicated stud must be removed due to interference with a brake line.-
Cut Line
NoteApply corrosion protection over the removed stud area. -

Prepare for installation.
NoteA red X indicates a location where a factory-installed fastener is not being replaced. -

- Prepare for installation.
- Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.

Install the new component or components.
Torque the bolt to 22 Nm.
NoteFor rivets installed through the Torque Box Assembly and into the cabin of the vehicle, make sure the rivets do not rub against the under-carpet insulation pad. If necessary, trim the insulation pad slightly to provide clearance. -
After painting is complete, use a
butyl patch to cover the rivets shown.
NoteUse several small butyl patches if necessary. - Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
