Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Wheelhouse Extension (Front).
  2. Remove the original component.
    • Reference Line/Point
    • Cut Line A = 36 mm B = 26 mm C = 28 mm D = 45 mm E = 44 mm
    • or Factory SPRs

    Note
    Use the service part as an additional reference for material removal from the Cast Rear Under Body. Bulk cut areas as needed until the service part fits the necessary repair area.

    The remaining portion of the Cast Rear Under Body on the inboard side of the repair area must overlap the service part by a minimum of 25 mm.
  3. Prepare for installation.

    The service part is installed from the underside of the Wheelhouse area.

    A red X indicates a location where a factory-installed fastener is not being replaced.
  4. Prepare for installation.
  5. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  6. Install the new component or components.
  7. Install the Wheelhouse Extension (Front).
  8. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
