Approved Frame Bench Systems and Optional Electronic Measuring Systems
Lists the approved frame bench systems and the optional electronic measuring systems for use when repairing Tesla vehicles.
Frame Bench Systems
The following approved frame bench system companies work closely with the Tesla Body Repair Program to design and build fixtures to Tesla’s exact specifications. This collaboration not only provides accurate component location, but also ensures safe and proper support of the body structure during the repair process.
Note
Some structural repairs on Tesla
vehicles must be performed with the vehicle properly mounted to an approved frame
bench. When a frame bench is to be used for a particular structural repair, the
Repair Information section of the repair procedure indicates to perform the repair
using a frame bench. The electronic measuring systems listed in Optional Electronic Measuring Systems can be used for damage analysis,
but are not a substitute for component fixturing during structural repair.

Frame bench data sheets can be
obtained from the frame bench manufacturer or an authorized distributor.

Use only approved frame bench
systems when repairing Tesla vehicles.

When performing a repair using a
frame bench, use a minimum of 8 control points to the frame bench.

Electronic measuring systems from the manufacturers listed below can be
used when performing damage analysis and structural repairs. The use of these
electronic measuring systems is optional, unless specified otherwise by the frame
bench manufacturer.
