Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Front Bulkhead (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Insulator - Dash (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Hose - Drain - HVAC (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Funnel - Drain - HVAC (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) - Brake (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Electromechanical Brake Booster Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the Superbeam (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Subframe Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  9. Remove the Carpet - 1st Row (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Cowl Top Assembly.
  11. Remove the original component.

  12. Prepare for installation.

    • A = 236 mm.
    • B = 14 mm.

  13. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  14. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts to 30 Nm.
  15. Install the Cowl Top Assembly.
  16. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  17. Install the Carpet - 1st Row (Remove and Replace).
  18. Install the Subframe Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  19. Install the Superbeam (Remove and Replace).
  20. Install the Electromechanical Brake Booster Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  21. Install the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) - Brake (Remove and Replace).
  22. Install the Funnel - Drain - HVAC (Remove and Replace).
  23. Install the Hose - Drain - HVAC (Remove and Replace).
  24. Install the Insulator - Dash (Remove and Replace).
  25. Install the Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Front Bulkhead (Remove and Replace).
