Trunk Waterfall Crossmember (Upper)

Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the Rear Motor Cover.
Remove the Trunk Waterfall Panel (Vehicles Built Through May 21, 2024).
Remove the original component.

or RIVTAC

Factory BOM
Glue nut to the back side of the node joint using structural adhesive .
Nut
Prepare for installation.

or High Strength Structural Rivets, 6.5 mm

or Structural Bulb Rivets, 6.5 mm

or Bolts
Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Torque the bolts to 25 Nm.
Install the Trunk Waterfall Panel (Vehicles Built Through May 21, 2024).
Install the Rear Motor Cover.
Install the fasteners as indicated.

Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
