- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the Rear Panel (Vehicles Built Through May 21, 2024).

Remove the original component.
or Factory Structural Rivets
or Bolts

Prepare for installation.
- Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.

Install the new component or components.
Torque the bolts as follows:
- Tesla part number 2007116: 48 Nm.
- Tesla part number 1005582-00-A: 25 Nm.

Install the Rear Panel (Vehicles Built Through May 21, 2024).
- Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
