Side Panel - Front - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Move the driver seat rearward.
  3. Release the clips (x14) and locator pin that attach the center console front side panel carpet to the center console, and then remove the front side panel from the vehicle.

    Note
    Use a trim tool and start at the top edge of the LH front side panel carpet to release the upper clips, and then pull the bottom edge to release the remaining clips.

    CAUTION
    Pull the LH front side panel carpet straight away from the center console. Do not peel the panel away from the console as this might damage the panel.

Install

  1. Install the clips (x14) and locator pin that attach the LH center console front side panel to the center console.

    Make sure that all clips are properly engaged.
  2. Move the driver seat back to its original position.
  3. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
