Lumbar Switch - Backrest - Driver Seat (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the driver seat thigh extension switch. See Thigh Extension - 1st Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the driver seat cushion switch button. See Button - Cushion Adjust - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the driver seat recliner switch button. See Button - Recliner - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the driver seat lumbar switch to the driver seat outboard side shield assembly, and then remove the switch from the side shield assembly.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the driver seat lumbar switch to the driver seat outboard side shield assembly, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the lumbar switch to the outboard side shield assembly.
    0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)

  2. Install the driver seat cushion switch button. See Button - Cushion Adjust - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the driver seat recliner switch button. See Button - Recliner - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the driver seat thigh extension switch. See Thigh Extension - 1st Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
