Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Warning
"Jack mode" must be activated on vehicles with air suspension before lifting the vehicle. Failure to do this might lead to suspension damage and could cause serious personal injury.
Warning
Use a face shield when performing this procedure.
Note
Vehicles with air suspension might need the suspension to be set to "High" or "Very High" to allow the vehicle to be positioned and supported correctly on a vehicle lift.

Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle (refer to procedure).
    Warning
    Do not work on an incorrectly supported vehicle.
  2. Remove the bolts (x20) and push clips (x2) that secures the rear aero shield (torque 4 Nm), and then remove the rear aero shield from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
