Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace)

Correction Code 15184002

Removal

  1. Remove the sun visor bezel. See Trim - A-Pillar - Sun Visor Bezel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the screw and nuts that attach the upper A-pillar trim to the B-pillar trim.
    2x bolts, 10 mm 5 Nm; 1x nyloc nut, 13 mm, 5 Nm; 1x screw, T20, 2.5 Nm.
  3. Partially remove the primary seal.
  4. Pull the rear of the trim panel towards the front of the vehicle to release it from the headliner.
    Note
    Disconnect the harnesses connector from the microphone and tweeter.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
  • Transfer the microphone to the new trim panel.
  • Transfer the tweeter to the new trim panel.
