Clean Radiator (Non-Heat Pump) (Maintenance)

Procedure

  1. Place the vehicle on the 2-post lift.

    Note
    Set air suspension to Jack Mode via Via Controls > Service > Jack Mode. Raise the lift until the arms contact the lifting points.
  2. Enable Service Mode. See Service Mode
  3. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install)
  4. Remove the active louver assembly. See Active Louver - Center (Remove and Replace)
  5. Use a vacuum to clean the dirt on the radiator and condenser.

    Note
    If necessary, remove the large debris.
  6. Use a blow gun to clean dirt on the radiator and condenser.

    Do not get too close to the radiator blades and condenser blades.
  7. Use a blow gun to clean the bottom of the cooling fan.
  8. Check if there are any stones at the bottom of the condenser and cooling fan.
  9. Install the active louver assembly. See Active Louver - Center (Remove and Replace)
  10. Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install)
  11. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway Unlock
  12. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): TEST-SELF_VCFRONT_X_THERMAL-PERFORMANCEvia Service Mode:Thermal ➜ Actions ➜ Test Thermal Performancevia Service Mode Plus:
