Repair Information
- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- Properly mount the vehicle on a frame bench when performing this procedure.

Repair Procedure
- LH component only: Remove the Insulator - Wheelhouse - LH (Remove and Replace).
- RH component only: Remove the Wheelhouse Insulator - Rear - RH (Remove and Replace).

Remove the Rear Panel Side Assembly (for 1-Piece Cast Under Body).

Remove the Wing Bracket (Lower).

Remove the original component.
- Cut Line

Mark the cut line on the
original component.
Attach the Cut Line Jig as shown, then mark the cut line toward the rear of the vehicle.NoteAvoid damaging the jigs so that they can be reused.

Remove the original component.

NoteCut as close as possible to the rear edge of the marked cut line on the original component. -
Trim the original component
as necessary to fit by removing material from the areas shown in red.
Minimize material removal during grinding and ensure that all edges are smooth and properly rounded.NoteKeep any gaps as small as possible.
- Prepare for installation.

Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
NoteUse structural adhesive to fill all gaps between the new component and the original component.

Install the new component or components.
Torque the bolts to 33 Nm.

Install the Rear Panel Side Assembly (for 1-Piece Cast Under Body).

Install the Wing Bracket (Lower).

Install the Wing Bracket (Lower).
NoteA red X indicates a location where a factory-installed fastener is not being replaced.
- Reference Line/Point
- or Structural Bulb Rivets, 6.5 mm A = 45 mm B = 58 mm
NoteRelocate the indicated fastener to the specified location for the Wing Bracket (Lower) procedure to avoid clash with the ejector pin. -
Install the Butyl Foil
patch as indicated.

- Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
- RH component only: Install the Wheelhouse Insulator - Rear - RH (Remove and Replace).
- LH component only: Install the Insulator - Wheelhouse - LH (Remove and Replace).
