Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Super Dash (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Cowl Top.
  3. Remove the original component.
    • or Factory Spot Welds
  4. Remove the original component.
    • or Factory Spot Welds
  5. Remove the original component.
    • or Factory Spot Welds
  6. Prepare for installation.
    • Rivnut
  7. Prepare for installation.
  8. Prepare for installation.
  9. Prepare for installation.
  10. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  11. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts to 10 Nm.
  12. Install butyl patches to completely cover the structural rivets in the locations shown.
  13. Install the Cowl Top.
  14. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  15. Install the Super Dash (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
