Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the original component.
or Factory Structural Rivets
Prepare for installation.
or High Strength Structural Rivets, 6.5 mm
Note
When fitting the Shock Tower Reinforcement, make sure that:
The top of the Shock Tower Reinforcement is flush with the top of the Shock Tower on the Front Under Body casting.
Any gap between the top of the Shock Tower Reinforcement and the Shock Tower of the Front Under Body casting is no more than 0.5 mm.
Install the new component or components.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
