Repair Information

Note

The Sail Datum Bracket is removed, but is not replaced; instead, the clips securing the wire harness are relocated.

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the clips (shown in red) securing the wire harness from the Sail Datum Bracket and the Diffuser Bracket.

Note
Once removed from the Sail Datum Bracket and the Diffuser Bracket, remove the clips from the wire harness.
Remove the original component.
or Factory Spot Welds
Secure each Band Edge Clip (shown in red) to the wire harness using a cable tie.
Reference Line/Point
- A = 105 mm.
- B = 195 mm.
Attach the Band Edge Clips (shown in red) to the Rear Under Body.
Reference Line/Point
- C = 78 mm.
- D = 53 mm.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
