Front Body Bridge Reinforcement Assembly

Correction code: 10101001202 NOTE: Unless explicitly stated in the procedure, the above correction code includes all Collision Repair and Service repair work required to perform this procedure, including the linked Collision Repair procedures and linked Service procedures. Do not stack Collision Repair correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. Depending on the damage to the vehicle, additional repairs may be required.

Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
Remove the Super Cowl Assembly (Remove and Replace).
Remove the Supercarrier Assembly (Remove and Install).
RH Component Only: Remove the Car Computer (Remove and Install).
Remove the Front Body Bridge Reinforcement Assembly from the Front Under Body Complete service part to make the new component.
Remove the original component.

Prepare for installation.

Note
A red X indicates a location where a factory-installed fastener is not being replaced. Secure this location using structural adhesive only.

or High Strength Structural Rivets, 6.5 mm

or Flow Form Rivets, S18

or Bolts
Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Torque the bolts as follows:
- HF,M12x35,STL[109],ZNFL,PC bolts, part number 1089657-00: 70 Nm.
- HHL,M12x43,[109],G0110,CM bolts, part number 1882229-00: 67 Nm.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
RH Component Only: Install the Car Computer (Remove and Install).
Install the Supercarrier Assembly (Remove and Install).
Install the Super Cowl Assembly (Remove and Replace).
Install the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
