Repair Information
- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- Properly mount the vehicle on a frame bench when performing this procedure.

Repair Procedure

Remove the original component.
Cut Line
NoteIf the Rear Under Body is damaged forward of the raised cut line, sectioning is not allowed and the entire component must be replaced.NoteCut to the rear of the raised cast cut line on the original component, then trim the original component until the service part fits to the correct dimensions (measured using the frame bench). The maximum allowed gap between the new component and the original component is 3 mm. -
Prepare for installation.

Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
NoteUse structural adhesive to fill all gaps between the new component and the original component.
- Install the new component or components.
- Install the Tailgate Tower.
- Install the Rear Fascia Bracket.
- Install the Sail Datum Bracket.
- Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
