This procedure assumes the cowl screen carrier bracket, headlight grommet, and underhood storage unit clips on the fender assembly being replaced are undamaged. Inspect these components and if necessary, replace with new parts.

Retirar

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See .
  2. Open all doors and fully lower all windows.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See #GUID-513C83FE-1D5B-4FC1-B3EA-FA796E158252.
  4. Remove the underhood storage unit. See .
  5. Remove the bolts that attach the top of the front fascia to the vehicle.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

  6. Remove the front wheels. See .
  7. Remove the front aero shield panel. See .
  8. Remove the LH front wheel liner. See .
  9. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH corner of the front fascia to the fender.

  10. Remove the RH front fender garnish. See .
  11. Remove the clips (x6) that attach the front of the RH front wheel liner to the vehicle.
  12. Remove the bolt that attaches the RH corner of the front fascia to the fender.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

  13. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front fascia in the RH wheel well.
  14. If present, release the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the pedestrian warning speaker assembly.
  15. If present, slide the locking tab away from the connector, and then press down on the locking tab to disconnect the connector from the pedestrian warning speaker assembly.
  16. With an assistant, release the LH side of the front fascia, and then carefully pull the fascia up and forward to remove it from the vehicle. Place the fascia on a padded surface.

    Carefully release the tabs that attach the lower headlight bracket to the front fascia, otherwise the tabs can be broken.

  17. Remove the LH headlight. See .
  18. Remove the LH side repeater light. See .
  19. Remove the LH fascia side to fender bracket. See .
  20. Release the clip that attaches the cowl screen to the LH side of the carrier bracket.
  21. Remove the bolts that attach the upper LH front fender bracket to the body.
    9.8 Nm (7.2 lbs-ft)

  22. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH front fender bracket to the body.

  25. Remove the LH front fender assembly from the vehicle

  1. Install the front underhood storage fender clips onto the LH front fender.
  2. Position the LH front fender assembly onto the vehicle
  3. Install the nuts that attach the lower LH front fender bracket to the body.
    9.8 Nm (7.2 lbs-ft)

  4. Install the bolt that attaches the rear LH front fender bracket to the body.

  6. Install the bolts that attach the upper LH front fender bracket to the body.

  7. Install the clip that attaches the cowl screen to the LH side of the carrier bracket.
  8. Install the LH fascia side to fender bracket. See .
  9. Install the LH side repeater light. See .
  10. Install the LH headlight from the vehicle. See .
  11. With an assistant, position the front fascia onto the vehicle. and then fasten the clips (x8).
  12. If present, install the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the pedestrian warning speaker assembly.
  13. If present, connect the pedestrian warning speaker electrical connector, and then engage the connector lock.
  14. Connect the electrical connector for the front fascia in the RH wheel well.
  15. Install the bolt that attaches the RH corner of the front fascia to the fender.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
