Removing and Installing the Front Wheel Fairings

Before driving Cybertruck on surfaces with low ground clearance or over obstacles such as rocks and depressions, remove the following to prevent damage:

Removing the Front Wheel Fairings

  1. On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls > Ride Height > High.
  2. Use a trim tool to remove the 4 pushpins directly in front of the front wheel on the driver side of the vehicle.

  3. While holding the wheel arch liner out of the working area, use a 10mm socket to remove the 2 nuts that secure the front wheel fairing to the vehicle.

  4. Pull downwards to release the clips and remove the front wheel fairing.

  5. Move the wheel arch liner back into position and reinstall the 4 pushpins that attach the liner to the vehicle.
  6. Perform this procedure again on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Installing the Front Wheel Fairings

If you are no longer planning to drive Cybertruck off road, you can reinstall the front wheel fairings.

  1. On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls > Ride Height > High.
  2. Use a trim tool to remove the 4 pushpins directly in front of the front wheel on the driver side of the vehicle.
  3. While holding the wheel arch liner out of the working area, push the driver side wheel fairing upward to engage the 3 clips, then use a 10mm socket to install the 2 nuts that attach the fairing to the vehicle. Torque the nuts to 4 Nm (2.9 ft-lbs).
  4. Move the wheel arch liner back into position and install the 4 clips that attach the liner to the vehicle.
  5. Perform this procedure again on the passenger side of the vehicle.
