Remove

  1. Enable Service Mode. See .
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Upper - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the hood latch cover. See Cover - Hood Latch (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the underhood storage unit. See #GUID-4FBD5199-27DF-4D9D-A193-1901CE127862.
  6. Remove the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH headlight.

    Note
    If the connector has a red locking tab: NON premere sulla linguetta di blocco rossa. Tirare la linguetta allontanandola dal connettore fino a sbloccarlo, quindi continuare a tirare il corpo principale del connettore per scollegarlo completamente.
  8. Remove the bolt that attaches the fender bracket to the body, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.

  9. Remove the fastener(s) that attach the LH headlight to the body.

    The headlight might not be equipped with a lower fastener.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  10. Remove the headlight from the vehicle.
  11. Repeat steps #TASK-REMOVE__GUID-181F40E8-4BCA-404A-9A2D-BCDDD4A223A2 through #TASK-REMOVE__GUID-B918B0E7-BFC6-4B95-B0FE-8F646FE31A2B for the RH side headlight.

Install

  1. Position the LH headlight onto the body.

    CAUTION
    Do not damage the headlight during installation.
  2. Install the fasteners that attach the LH headlight to the body.
    5.9 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Install the bolt that attaches the fender bracket to the body.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)

  4. Connect the electrical connector for the LH headlight.
  5. Repeat steps #TASK-INSTALL-OR-REPLACE__GUID-F356F964-B313-4753-8078-7F4798AF4473 through #TASK-INSTALL-OR-REPLACE__GUID-7B949506-C8F2-4A66-B254-70B3E9530EB2 for the RH side headlight.
  6. Install the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).

    After connecting the front fascia electrical connections, pause the procedure to initiate a software reinstall.
  7. Perform a software reinstall concurrently with the rest of the steps in this procedure. See .
