Condenser

    Remove


  1. Remove condenser front exit duct (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove condenser rear exit duct (refer to procedure).

  3. Evacuate refrigerant (refer to procedure).

  4. Loosen union and disconnect condenser high pressure refrigerant pipe (torque - 18 Nm).
    5. CAUTION: To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.
     

    CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     


  5. Loosen union and disconnect condenser low pressure refrigerant pipe (torque - 25 Nm).

  6. Remove cable ties (x3) securing harness to body. Disconnect cooling fan connectors (x2).


  7. Remove bolts and nuts (x2) securing condenser to body (torque - 12 Nm) .


  8. Remove condenser.

  9. Remove nuts and bolts (x4) securing cooling fans to condenser (torque - 15 Nm).

  10. Remove cooling fans.

  11. Remove plastic spacers (x4) from condenser

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.
