Compressor

    Remove


  1. Remove solenoid valve (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove blower assemby (refer to procedure).

  3. Remove compressor high pressure pipe (refer to procedure).
    4. CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     

    NOTE: Place suitable absorbent material around the affected area to absorb any possible fluid spillage.


  4. Disconnect compressor high voltage connector. LH drive illustrated.


  5. Previous step is different to RH drive.


  6. Disconnect compressor low voltage connector.


  7. Remove nuts (x3) securing compressor to mounting bracket (torque - 4 Nm).
    8. CAUTION: Replace all Nyloc nut(s).
     


  8. Maneuver compressor to provide access to earth point.

  9. Collect washers (x3).

  10. Remove bolt and disconnect earth ground point from compressor (torque - 25 Nm).


  11. Remove compressor.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Check compressor mountings are secure on bracket studs. If any mounting is loose, it must be removed and recommended thread locking compound applied to the female threads before refitting and tightening by hand.
