ABS Modulator Assembly

FRT No: 33032502

    Remove


  1. Raise and support vehicle.
    2. WARNING: Do not work on an incorrectly supported vehicle.
     


  2. Remove lower LH wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).

  3. Release brake pipes (x6) from modulator (torque - 14 Nm).
    4. CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     

    NOTE: Place suitable absorbent material around the affected area to absorb any possible fluid spillage.


  4. Remove Patchbolts (x3) securing modulator to mounting bracket (torque - 9 Nm).


  5. Remove bolts (x3) securing modulator to damper bracket rubber mountings and remove bracket (torque - 9 Nm).

  6. Disconnect ABS connector and remove modulator.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.
    2. CAUTION: Replace all Patchbolt(s).
     


  2. Bleed brakes (refer to procedure).
