Pipe - Low Pressure - Charge Port

    Remove


  1. Recover refrigerant (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove HVAC controller (refer to procedure).

  3. Loosen union and remove the low pressure charge port pipe (torque - 15 Nm).
    4. CAUTION: To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.
     

    CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     


  4. Remove P-clip from pipe.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Replace A/C pipe O-ring.
