Pipe - Evaporator - Solenoid Valve to TXV

    Remove


  1. Evacuate air conditioning refrigerant (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove receiver drier (refer to procedure).

  3. Clean area around TXV.

  4. Remove screw securing pipe clamp to TXV (torque - 10 Nm).


  5. Remove clamp and release pipe.
    6. CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     


  6. Loosen pipe union to solenoid valve (torque - 18 Nm).


  7. Remove pipe.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure reverse of removal except for thr following.

  2. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.

    3. NOTE: Lubricate new O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.
