Receiver Drier

    Remove


  1. Recover refrigerant (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove HVAC high voltage controller (refer to procedure).

  3. Remove screws (x2) securing wiper motor cover.


  4. Remove cover.

  5. Note fitted (inlet/outlet) position of receiver drier pipes, clamp and arrow denoting direction of flow.

  6. Loosen refrigerant pipe unions (x2) at the receiver drier (torque 18 Nm).
    7. CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     

    CAUTION: To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.
     


  7. Using two wrenches, disconnect condenser pipe union.


  8. Loosen clamp, disconnect pipes and remove receiver drier.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.

    3. NOTE: Lubricate new O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.
