TXV Valve - Heat Exchanger

    Remove


  1. Recover refrigerant (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove RH rear wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).

  3. Remove bolt securing pipe retaining plate to TXV (torque - 10 Nm). Remove retaining plate.


  4. Disconnect refrigerant pipes from TXV.
    5. CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     


  5. Remove bolts (x2) securing TXV to heat exchanger pipe bracket (torque - 10 Nm). Remove bracket.


  6. Remove TXV from heat exchanger.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.

  3. Replace heat exchanger pipe O-rings.
