Solenoid Valve - Heat Exchanger

    Remove


  1. Remove RH dash trim (refer to procedure).

  2. Disconnect solenoid valve connector.


  3. Loosen solenoid rear pipe retaining nut (torque - 18 Nm).
    4. CAUTION: To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.
     

    CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     


  4. Loosen front pipe union and disconnect pipe from solenoid valve (torque - 18 Nm).

  5. Remove bolts (x2) securing solenoid valve to body (torque - 10 Nm).


  6. Remove solenoid valve.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.
