Module - Motor Encoder

    Remove


  1. Remove lower motor shroud (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove screw (x2) securing encoder harness P-clips and ground lead to motor housing.

    3. NOTE: When installing, apply Loctite® 222™ thread locking compound to bolt/screw threads.


  3. Remove P-clips (x2) from harness.

  4. Remove cable ties and disconnect RTD sensor connector.

  5. Remove screws (x4) securing encoder to motor (torque - 1.3 Nm).

    6. NOTE: When installing, apply Loctite® 222™ thread locking compound to bolt/screw threads.


  6. Release and remove encoder from motor.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal.
