Spring & Damper Assembly - Front - LH

    Remove


  1. Raise and support vehicle.
    2. WARNING: Do not work on an incorrectly supported vehicle.
     


  2. Remove road wheel (torque - 105 Nm).

  3. Remove Nyloc nut, bolt and washers (x2) securing spring and damper assembly to lower wishbone (torque 45 Nm).


  4. Remove nut, bolt and washers (x2) securing spring and damper assembly to damper bracket, collect spacers (torque 45 Nm).

    5. NOTE: Always record quantity and fitted position of shims, washers, locktabs or clips.


  5. Remove spring and damper assembly

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.
    2. CAUTION: Replace all Nyloc nut(s).
