Brake Disc - Rear - LH

    Remove


  1. Raise and support vehicle.
    2. WARNING: Do not work on an incorrectly supported vehicle.
     


  2. Remove road wheel (torque - 105 Nm)

  3. Disconnect parking brake inner cable from caliper lever.


  4. Release cable rubber seal and disconnect parking brake outer cable from caliper.


  5. Release brake hose clip from track control arm.


  6. Remove upper bolt securing caliper to upright (torque - 45 Nm). Use the Service S-hook tool to hang the caliper.

    7. NOTE: When installing, apply Loctite® 680™ retaining compound to bolt/screw threads.


  7. Remove lower bolt securing caliper to upright, release caliper and tie aside. (torque - 25 Nm).

    8. NOTE: When installing, apply Loctite® 680™ retaining compound to bolt/screw threads.


  8. Remove screw securing brake disc to hub and remove disc (torque - 20 Nm).

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Clean mating face of hub and disc.

  3. Pump brake pedal at least 5 times to seat pads against brake disc.
    4. WARNING: Always check that brake pads are seated correctly before driving the vehicle.
     


  4. Check parking brake adjustment.
