Trunk Lid Assembly

    Remove


  1. Open trunk.

  2. Mark fitted position of trunk hinges to trunk lid.

  3. With assistance, remove bolts (x4) securing both hinges to trunk lid assembly.
    4. WARNING: To avoid serious injury, support weight of component to prevent accidental closure.
     


  4. Remove trunk lid assembly.
    5. WARNING: This component is heavy. Removal/Installation is a two person operation.
     


  5. Remove bolts (x4) and neoprene washers (x8) securing rear spoiler to trunk lid assembly.


  6. Remove rear spoiler.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Ensure that neoprene washers are used between trunk lid and spoiler to prevent water ingress.

  3. Position trunk hinges in marked locations.

  4. Check alignment of trunk lid to body and adjust as necessary.
