Hose - Vacuum Pump to Servo

    Remove


  1. Raise and support vehicle.
    2. WARNING: Do not work on an incorrectly supported vehicle.
     


  2. Remove LH lower wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).

  3. Remove condenser rear exit duct (refer to procedure).

  4. Remove cover and NVH foams from vacuum pump.

  5. Disconnect vacuum hose from brake vacuum pump.


  6. Disconnect vacuum hose from brake servo.


  7. Maneuver pipe through grommet in bumper armature and remove hose.


  8. Maneuver pipe through bonnet switch bracket.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Ensure the servo operates correctly before driving the vehicle.

  3. Ensure the NVH foams and cover are correctly fitted and secured to the vacuum pump. Incorrectly fitted, or missing NVH foam can result in excessive noise when the pump is operating
