Pipe - Low Pressure - Manifold to Compressor

    Remove


  1. Remove receiver drier (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove insulation pad.

  3. Loosen the manifold to compressor pipe union at the low pressure manifold (torque - 35 Nm). Disconnect pipe.
    4. CAUTION: To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.
     

    CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     


  4. Loosen the low pressure manifold to compressor pipe union at the compressor (torque - 35 Nm). Remove pipe from compressor.
    5. CAUTION: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
     

    CAUTION: To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.
     

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal except for the following.

  2. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.
