Seat Assembly - Passengers

    Remove


  1. Remove soft top or hard top if applicable.

  2. Remove center console (refer to procedure).

  3. Remove clip and clevis pin securing parking brake primary cable to parking brake lever mechanism.


  4. Disconnect parking brake lever switch connector.


  5. Remove bolts (x4) securing seat rail to floor panel (torque - 25 Nm).

  6. Remove bolt, spring washer and spacer sleeve securing seat belt lower anchor point to seat frame (torque - 33 Nm).


  7. Disconnect seat heater connector.


  8. Remove seat from vehicle.

  9. Remove bolt, washer and spring securing seat belt buckle (torque - 33 Nm). Remove seat belt buckle.

    10. NOTE: Always record quantity and fitted position of shims, washers, locktabs or clips.


  10. Release clip securing lumbar pump hose to seat frame.

  11. Drill out rivets (x4) securing owner manual holder to seat assembly and remove owner manual holder.


  12. Remove nuts (x2) securing seat assembly to seat frame (torque - 15 Nm).

  13. Remove RH bolt securing seat rail to seat assembly (torque - 15 Nm).


  14. Remove LH bolt securing seat assembly to seat rail (torque - 15 Nm).

  15. Remove seat rail from seat assembly.

    Installation


  1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal.
    2. CAUTION: Take care not to damage seat wiring when installing seat.
