Backup Switch / Backup Gateway Device Page Overview

The Backup Switch or Backup Gateway act as the Islanding Contactor; this page provides a more direct view of the island state of the system and the state of the micro-grid.

1 Contactor State On Grid / Off Grid
2 Vitals
Grid State:
  • Uncompliant: The grid is not available. Voltage/frequency is out of range for grid code
  • Qualifying: The grid is available, but the system is checking for stability. Can take up to 5 min
  • Compliant: The grid is available
Line voltage 1
Frequency 1

1 When the system is off-grid, the micro-grid (load-side) values are shown as the voltage / frequency can be different on the grid and home side of the island.
