Configure Gateway Secondary (Meter Y)

Meter Y has three CT ports, with the following voltage references:
  • CT 1: L1
  • CT 2: L2
  • CT 3: Default is L1, can be configured as L2
  1. For each CT, select the appropriate location representing what it is measuring:
    • Solar (1CTx2): The most common option. Used when one CT is installed to measure Solar (only one conductor (L1 or L2) is required, as the value is doubled in the software to capture the total output).
    • Solar: Used when CTs are installed on conductors (both L1 and L2) to measure Solar.
    • Site: Used when CTs are installed on conductors (both L1 and L2) to measure Site.
    • Conductor: Used when two CTs are installed (on both L1 and L2 conductors) to measure conductors being controlled by Conductor Limits.
      • Set the Conductor Limit in the Advanced Settings menu.

    Note
If any of the CT readings are inverted and it has been confirmed that they are oriented correctly, select the Flip check box to correct the reading.
  2. Review the vitals for each CT (voltage, current, and power factor) to confirm they have been installed and configured correctly.

The live power flow and current readings are available for each CT in real time, as well as an overview of all meters and CT settings, in the Metering tab.
