HVAC Housing Sanitation using Tunap 996

  1. Remove the HVAC fan assembly. See Blower Motor - HVAC (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the clip that attaches the air filter cover to the air filter housing, and then remove the cover from the housing.
  3. Use a 90-degree pick or similar tool to remove the particular filter from the HVAC unit.
  4. Apply Tunap 996 hygienic fluid on a clean microfiber cloth, and then clean the inside of the cabin filter and blower motor housing as well as the inside of the air filter cover.
  5. Install a new cabin air filter into the air filter housing.
  6. Install the air filter cover onto the air filter housing.
  7. Install the HVAC fan assembly. See Blower Motor - HVAC (Remove and Replace).

Interior Air Sanitation using Tunap 589

  1. Switch the HVAC system to recirculated air mode.
  2. Select the highest fan speed.
  3. Position the Tunap 589 bottle on the center console.
  4. Press the sprayhead until it clicks.
  5. Leave the Tunap 589 bottle in the vehicle for 10 minutes while all doors and windows are closed.
  6. Open all doors to vent the interior.
  7. Remove the Tunap 589 bottle from the vehicle.
  8. Close all doors.

Interior Sanitation using Tunap I880

  1. Apply Tunap I880 onto a clean microfiber cloth.
  2. Gently wipe off all contact surfaces of the vehicle interior, like:
    • Steering wheel
    • Stalks
    • Door handles and switches
    • Touchscreen
    • Seat belt tongue and buckle
    • Glove box lid
    • Center console lid(s)
    • Etc.
