Week Ending December 21, 2024

The following procedure(s) were updated:
  1. Hose - Outlet - Rear Drive Unit (3DU) (Remove and Replace) - Updated entire procedure to latest validation.
  2. HV Battery (AWD) (Remove and Replace):
    • Added a step to verify the front HV battery coolant passthrough fittings on the new HV battery to determine if the updated front HV battery coolant manifold hose 1734606-00-D is needed.
    • Added step to determine if HV battery parameters are within safe limits before removing the pyro disconnect.
  3. HV Battery (RWD) (Remove and Replace):
    • Added a step to verify the front HV battery coolant passthrough fittings on the new HV battery to determine if the updated front HV battery coolant manifold hose 1734606-00-D is needed.
    • Added step to determine if HV battery parameters are within safe limits before removing the pyro disconnect.
  4. Sensor - Radar - Front (Calibration) - Added a note for EMEA. If the conditions are met, this procedure is not required.

  1. New glass components (windshield, roof, door, and fixed glass) must be inspected before installation to meet Tesla’s internal standards of quality. The Pre-Installation Glass Inspection procedure explains how to inspect new windshield, roof, door, and fixed glass components before the new component is installed.

  1. Added a new caution about Pre-Installation Glass Inspection service requirements:
  2. Four Wheel Alignment Check and Adjust - Removed instruction to add the test drive correction code. The test drive is now included in the alignment FRT.
  3. Frame - Seat Cushion - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace) - Added mini-tilt motor configuration information.
  4. Frame - Seat Cushion - Front Passenger Seat (Remove and Replace) - Added mini-tilt motor configuration information.
  5. Knuckle - Suspension - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace) - Made correction to Note that mentions one/both rear lower fore links.
  6. Motor - Seat Tilt - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace) - Added mini-tilt motor configuration information.
  7. Seatbelt - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace) - Fixed incorrect torque values for retractor to body fastener.
  8. Sensor - TPMS (Remove and Replace) - Remove the step of programming the TPMS sensor ID.

  3. Isolator - Motor Mount - Front - LH (Remove and Replace) - Added note on o-ring installation.
  4. Supermanifold (Remove and Replace) - Added information on manually configuring replacement coolant pumps (optional).
