Install

  1. Position the LH steering wheel switch to the steering wheel, connect the electrical connector, and then install the bolts (x4).
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Make sure the bezel and switch are flush.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T10 bit
  2. Install the steering wheel upper shroud. See Steering Column and Wheel - Shroud Upper - Steering Wheel
  3. Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  4. On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate to Service Mode > Software Reinstall, tap REQUEST, and allow the routine to complete.
  5. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  6. Perform Handwheel calibration. See Set Handwheel Zero.
  7. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  8. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  9. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
